MRA E-Invoicing Readiness for the 2026 Stages

Check your MRA notice and complete registration, setup and testing for your billing workflow.

Published: March 1, 2026 ยท Updated: October 21, 2026

Updated guidance: this article previously referred to July and September readiness windows. Use our MRA rollout timeline for the published deadlines and check the notification issued to your business.

Start with your current position

If you already issue fiscalised invoices, focus on reliable daily operations: confirm successful submissions, follow up on rejected documents and keep your team clear about corrections. If you still need to start, bring your notice, software details and expected invoice volume to the implementation review.

Allow time for preparation

For a planned rollout, we recommend allowing two to three months for data preparation, access, registration, setup and testing. This is a planning allowance, not an extension of an MRA deadline or a guaranteed delivery time. If your date has passed, contact the MRA and arrange your implementation promptly.

Practical action plan

  1. Confirm the date and requirements in your MRA notice.
  2. Choose one person to coordinate finance, operations and your software provider.
  3. Check business and customer details, then arrange the access needed for setup.
  4. Complete registration, software setup and testing before live invoicing.
  5. Review submission results regularly and resolve exceptions with your support team.

Use the registration and setup checklist, then the MRA portal review guide for ongoing checks.
